I have been in childcare since the age of 16. I started as a babysitter on an occasional weekend then began working as a sales associate/assistant manager at a kids toy and bookstore (Tiddlywinks) until the stores closure. Along with managing the store, I was in charge of coordinating and hosting birthday parties for all ages! After the stores closure, I became a private nanny for a family who had a 3-year-old boy. I was in charge of all his daily care (diaper changing, meal prep in accordance with his parent's specific meal plan, recording daily activities such as behavior, meal times, diaper change times, nap times, and providing engaging indoor and outdoor activities.)
