Hi ! My name is Keila I am 23 yrs old and a mother to a beautiful growing 3yr old girl named Kaleigh. While I was in high school I did a lot of babysitting for different families sometimes during the week in the evenings and on the weekends. One family that I use to babysit for had offered me a long term position one summer while they were at work and school was out that wanted me to look after their 2 children ages 7 and 4. I never thought about being a nanny but I knew that I had a passion for working with children, I had already had a bond with the children from when I would babysit so I knew that this was going to be easy. I would go to their house every morning at 7:30am the boys were usually sleep, I would prepare breakfast Read more and get the dressed I would let them each pick a game to play then we would do an art project or something educational. They would normally get dressed after that If they weren't already then we would go outside if the weather was nice, either to the park, ride bikes, to the playground, to the zoo or museum. On the days that they would have soccer practice or a play date I would be their transportation there and back, we really had fun that summer. When school was back in session for the both of us I still continued to babysit on the weekends and some weekday evenings. The summer that I graduated the family that I worked for in the summer had told me about a friend of theirs that lived close by that was expecting that following month and was looking for a nanny and they thought it would be the perfect job for me. I agreed to meet with them I was kind of nervous but the Yoder's turned out to be super nice. I agreed to take the position I became very excited to meet baby McKenzie, once she was born I came over for the first 6 weeks to help Mrs.Yoder and to become acquainted with McKenzie, when Mrs. Yoder returned to work It was just me and Kenzie for 8 hours, I got her on a schedule, I introduced her to tummy time, we loved our daily walks about other activities. I took care of McKenzie for about 3 1/2 years then Mrs. Yoder gave birth to her second child Ashton and the same routine with Kenzi I did with Ashton. I am currently looking for a new family to share my love and experience with because the Yoder's are relocating the option for me to come was open But I am not ready to relocate just yet such a bitter sweet situation
