Val worked with our family (newborn & 2 yr. old) while we transitioned from my maternity leave to someone who could work as a full time nanny. I hired her due to her robust education, life experience, and strength as a wonderful role model, and I knew the rest would fall into place. It absolutely did. Valerie took all our input and cared for our two girls with compassion, fun, and discipline. She kept the girls on their nap scheduled, cooked for them, and did their laundry in addition to playing outside, taking walks, etc. She was quick to help out around the house without being asked and the girls loved her.
