As a youth (15-20) I was a YMCA Camp Counselor. As a camp counselor I was responsible to bring campers to and from various activities throughout the camp, interact with campers, as well as participate in group activities (lunch, arts, swimming, etc). I had a great time doing this during my summers! I love kids and I love teaching! I continued my teaching kick later on in life as a grad student. I babysat some of my campers after camp ended. Responsibilities included interacting with the kids, figuring out fun activities to keep kids occupied, help with school work, first aid as needed and keeping the house.

I didn't actually hire this person to care for my children, so I cannot speak to that. However, we did set up an interview as I'm hiring a nanny for my kids. Not only did she not show up, she did not call. Out of concern for her and for my kids (she knows where they live), I messaged her to check if she was okay and determine if she was no longer interested in the position. I've yet to receive a response. I did not want to leave this review but Patricia did not handle this responsibly, which is necessary when applying to care for children.
