I grew up the oldest of four siblings and because of this, I have always been drawn to caregiving and nurturing jobs. I babysat from eighth grade through high school and was known as the neighborhood babysitter. I was also a lifeguard during the summers and taught swimming lessons to children up to Pre-level 4 and Introduction to Diving. My most recent nanny position was taking care of a four month old baby girl through an entire school year. She was a little over one year old when I stopped and that was due to her father having an overseas assignment with the State Department. I absolutely adore children and while I don’t have any of my own (yet!) I do have two nieces and a nephew (who has a brother on the way) who are my world.
