I commute from the Edgewater/Annapolis area to the University of Maryland (College Park), where I am a full-time Family Science major and Kinesiology minor. Post graduation I plan to obtain my Master’s degree in family/couple counseling, in hopes of becoming a relationship therapist. I am very responsible and trustworthy but also very energetic, friendly and outgoing. Although I am not a parent myself, I adore children and truly enjoy caregiving. Due to my very large extended family I have been around and/or taken care of children almost all my life. On top of my personal experience, I also have professional care-giving experience. Since age 16 I have worked within 3 local gyms as a child care attendant/supervisor, as well as, a sporadic babysitter for many different families. Independently, I have babysat up to 5 children at one time and as young as one month. Hailey has been with our family for almost a year now and we absolutely love her! My 2 year old son loves when Hailey comes to watch him. I work from home part-time and I always hear them reading, playing outside (weather permitting), singing songs, and they are always laughing at some new fun game they made up together. Hailey is one of the most conscientious sitters we’ve ever had. She’s always on time and we never worry that she’ll be late or not show. My son is on a special diet and she follows it religiously so I never have to worry that he may inadvertently eat something he shouldn't. She helps us out with light housekeeping/chores around the house and the house always looks better after she leaves! Hailey has been a great addition to our family and we think any other family would be blessed to have her.
