I have been a full time nanny for one year, part-time nanny for 3 years, and an occasional babysitter for 9 years. As a childcare provider, I emphasize learning and fun through reading and hands-on activities, such as crafts, field trips, and imaginative play. I not only care for the children but also the environment they are in by cleaning up after the children and with the children, making cleaning and “picking up” into an educational time. I also find it important to clean the kitchen completely after each use, and make sure everything is the way I initially found it, or better. The youngest child I have cared for was a newborn infant. The oldest child was 13. I have experience caring for two+ children at a time. I also have one year of tutoring experience in math and English, so can help with homework as well!
