I am an easy going and experienced caregiver with a bachelor's degree in human development/family studies and a minor in animal science. Throughout my college career, I have had the opportunity to babysit for family members and friends, as well as gaining experience from educational practicums and volunteer/internship work in day care settings. Currently I have been working in the infant room at the daycare center I have been employed with for the past year and a half, which has allowed me to care for up to four infants at a time, by myself, with a 4-1 ratio (class size of 8). I am CPR and First-Aid certified, as well as having early intervention experience. Working in a daycare setting for so long has helped a great deal with my organization skills, time management, and ability to multi-task. Along with my love for little ones, I also have a great Read more love for animals and have some educational experience with many different kinds of animals as well (So pets are not a problem!) I am very family oriented and believe that communication with family members about the children is key, especially when it comes to development. In addition to my experience working with children and animals, I have some personal experience with music and art as well. I enjoy singing, dancing, reading and doing art projects, making me the perfect candidate for children of all ages!
