I am 28 years old and live in Perry Hall, Maryland. I am a graduate from Towson University where I majored in Elementary Education. I am currently starting my 4th year of teaching in a Title I public school in Baltimore County (1st grade). I worked at a childcare center  for 3 years. During this time, I have gained experience working with children ages 6 weeks-5 years old. Most of my time at the daycare center was spent in the toddler and two-year-old rooms, although I did spend quite a bit of time in the infant room as well.  Over the years, I babysat children ages 3 months-13 years old. I have a 6-year-old son who is gentle, adventurous, and inquisitive.  Ideally, I would like to babysit for a family that would welcome my son into their home as well. My son and I love exploring new places and creating colorful masterpieces out of Read more random materials. We also enjoy looking for animals on nature walks, riding bikes along trails, reading at the library, and cooking together. I pride myself in offering numerous opportunities for my son to engage in safe, open-ended, imaginative play throughout the day. We are often found playing with blocks, Magnatiles, legos, and cars. We would love to do these activities with your child(ren) as well! However, if there is anything that makes you uncomfortable, I would gladly respect that and chose to do a different activity. I would love to work with a family that would allow me to take their child(ren) into the community for fun experiences rather than stay in the home all day. I am looking for a babysitting position for evenings and weekends. Since I work full-time during the weekdays, I cannot accept any jobs that would require me to start earlier than 4pm on Mondays-Fridays.
