Hi there! I am a new mom to a 7 month old. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am leaving my current full time out of home position and going to be home with my little one. I am looking to incorporate one or two children into our day to care for. I would be willing to have your children in my home or alternatively, my little guy and I could come to your home. I have experience over the past number of years that varies based on position. Most recently, I worked for almost 5 years with children with emotional/behavioral/mental health diagnosis and developmental delays. Prior to that, I worked for a family as a nanny for about a year. Before that, I worked in a day care setting with multiple children for almost 6 years. In one setting, I worked with children ages birth through six in a Read more single group providing day time and overnight care with usually 6-8 children at a time. In another setting, I worked strictly with two year olds in a traditional day care setting. I recently was re certified in First Aid/CPR. I am a college graduate with a bachelor's degree and plan to return to school in the next year or so for my master's degree in social work. My background is primarily in child development and psychology. I am available for day times, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I would consider both long term or short term care needs. I have a valid drivers license and a car and plan to spend time at the York Township park when available this summer as it is close to my home.
