I am not available at this time. Good Luck!! My name is Leah and I am looking to do some babysitting work in New York. I have been around kids my whole life and have always enjoyed it. I also like the idea of helping parents out even if its only for a few hours. I spend my spare time in my studio where I do illustration and design work. I am an avid reader as well. I do a lot of editorial illustrations for institutions like The New York Times and Bloomberg. I would like to eventually have my illustration work be my full time job. I enjoy reading with kids and being with them while they explore the world for the first time. Its fun for me to foster their sense of curiosity and adventure. Although parents are usually impressed by how patient I am with kids. When Read more it comes to discipline, it is important for me to be consistent with the parents rules. I enjoy all stages of a child's development. Every age brings a different set of challenges and ways to enjoy each others company. Most importantly, every child is different and there is no one type of treatment that can be used for everyone. Getting to know each child and celebrating their unique characteristics is what I find most exciting when I am babysitting.
