Babysitting was actually my first job as a young adult! Starting at age 12, I watched a variety of age groups for some extra money. I babysat a few weekends a month, even did overnight and all-weekend babysitting when I was in high school! My Junior year of high school I took a Learning about Children course and during my Senior Year I took Working with Children. In that course, we had 90 minute sessions of daycare with children about 4 years old. This included making snacks, playtime, lesson plans, and story time. I had a great time watching the children learn and play, and helping them to do so. I have worked with children of all ages, but I'm currently looking for a position with younger children (under the age of 5). I work well with both genders! I love being outside, adventuring, making arts and crafts, reading, puzzles Read more and riddles, the works! I'm not much of a TV or video game person, I prefer to sight see and spend time outdoors. I would definitely be able to keep your children active and busy! I am looking for a full time position for two children or less, and I am very excited about hopefully starting a new position as a full time nanny!
