I have been working with children in the professional field for the past four years as a Therapeutic Staff Support. I am trained and educated to provide support to children with Autism or other emotional support needs. I worked with the child one on one with the family or school staff to provide therapy. The areas I worked with the children mainly but not limited to included, social skills, behavioral rehabilitation, speech, and motor skills. I believe in being active in a child's life including their interests is a key way to help guide them to making their own positive life choices. I began babysitting in my local area when I was 13 which ranged from weekend nights to full days during the summer. I am CPR certified as well as trained in various behavioral and emotional areas. I enjoy being active indoors as well as outdoors. Outdoors I will Read more spend my time hiking, walking, and playing sports. Indoors I can be found in the kitchen where I take joy in creating the next meal. I am also fond of anything that has to do with arts and crafts. I feel that children can thrive with positive attention as well as an understanding of the expectations for their behaviors.
