I have just successfully completed the RN program at HCC and have passed my licensure examination to become an RN. However, I am awaiting receipt of a license number. I really enjoyed clinical rotations in pediatrics and had the opportunity to engage with various age groups with various diagnoses. I've cared for a wide variety of children of various ages and disabilities in their home and in the hospitals clinical sessions. I absolutely love the world that children live in and feel as though they provide me with knowledge and need insight everyday. I'm always in search of a new learning experience! I'm interested in helping children achieve their developmental milestones to their full potential, if possible. I have also provided pet sitting to families in the past so if there is a pet in the home, even better! I have done various volunteer work mentoring children in Arlington whose Read more parent(s) died in the recent wars. I also use to work as an assitant coach for a softball team of girls ages 8-10. I lead a very active life and workout quite often so a child that enjoys running or other sports would be well entertained. I also enjoy indoor activities that could be done with the children such as drawing, arts and crafts, puzzles, baking cookies, creating new things and even the occasional movie or video game. I can pretty much adapt to any like or dislike of the child or parent. I do try to promote good nutritious as well, (realizing this is not always realistic with every child).

My wife and I traveled to Columbia, MD for a family visit and found Amanda to be reliable, kind, calming and capable with our 7-month baby boy and 3-1/2 year old daughter. Amanda's a sincere hard-working individual and a promising nurse. She definitely deserves the utmost consideration and support with her future endeavors. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have met her as our children were instantly attached. from grateful parents, Darrin & Svetlana

Amanda was our Nanny for our now 10 month old for the last 7 weeks of school and she is AMAZING! I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a babysitter or a nanny. She is caring, friendly, patient, hard-working, and helpful. Our daughter lit up every time she saw Amanda.
