Passion, creativity, and involvement are three small words with huge meanings. I found my passion while in high school. Early Childhood Education was my completer by choice. During the three years in the program, I was deemed one of the leading teachers as my devotion to not only my education but to the preschooler's as well out shined others who only needed credits. During senior year, I committed myself to a bubbling class of first graders I sat with for nearly two hours every day as part of an internship where I shadowed a teacher and found an understanding of our future- the children. Fresh out of high school, I accepted a terrifyingly satisfying role of a Live-in Nanny. With a newborn growing into a curious infant and youngster that was part diva and part pubescent teenager i found creativity that lead the three of us into limitless journeys and Read more art sessions. I was with them for nearly our years until they were no longer curious caterpillars but brilliant and beautiful butterflies looking to take on the world. Currently I am working a not-as-much-fun part time sales associate for a clothing store but desperately want to get back into working with children. While I was just a day short of earning my 90 clock hour certificate, I obtain the charisma and drive that many others in the childcare business lack. Many look at this field as just a job but for me, it is an involvement, a chance to make an impact on the tiny humans that will one day be taking of us.
