What I love most about this field is the ability to build relationships with the family and children. I am still close and in contact with all my previous childcare jobs, and consider them to be family. It's been wonderful. I have been watching children for years now, from newborn to 7 years old. During my time babysitting I have taken the children to and from school, sports, and other activities. Cooked and served meals, cleaned around the homes. Made sure homework was completed and assisted if needed and prepared the children for bed and school depending on times. I am a student studying child life and early childhood development, however I am taking this semester off. I love animals, doing crafts, cooking and baking, playing, horses, swimming and being outside. The past families I have babysat for have been call upon request, and also full time schedules. The children Read more were typically infants to toddlers and very high in energy, which I loved! I grew very close bonds with them, and rarely faced problems with discipline. The last family I worked with was for about 2 years and loads of fun, but unfortunately our schedules and availability changed. I have has such a wonderful experience watching kids and would love to do it again. I look forward to hearing from you if you're interested! Take care.
