Hello! I've been taking care of children in one way or another since I was 12 years old. At 12, I began babysitting my infant cousin over the summer. As a teen, I served in volunteer positions to help with children's church. Then, as an adult, I taught in and co-directed children's church. Helping children grow and develop has brought me great joy over the years! In my professional life, I taught kindergarten and second grade, which were both fun ages to teach. Children are so curious and excitable at those stages! During that time, I got my Master's degree in Teaching with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I most recently served as an Assistant Principal in an elementary school for two years. Though I enjoyed my time in education, the birth of my own son inspired me to change course a bit. So, when my son was 11 Read more months old, I transitioned out of my role as Assistant Principal. I still love caring for and teaching children, but want to be able to spend more time with my son too. Therefore, I'm returning back to my roots of babysitting/nannying. My son, AJ (13 months old) and I are looking for a great family to help care for. We love reading, playing games, laughing, and going on field trips, to name a few things. We are eager to meet you!
