Hi my name is Jaci Helfstein and I am 24 years old. I have 10 years of child care experience which has included working at a preschool, daycare, elementary school, tennis camps kids parties, and of course babysitting and nannying. I am kind, caring, nurturing, responsible, energetic, fun and truly enjoy working with children which is why I feel child care has been such a great fit for me! I currently am a part time nanny for s wonderful family in Potomac, MD. Childcare related tasks that I can perform but are not limited to are cooking, light housework/ cleaning, reading to, changing diapers, bathing, changing, feeding (for the younger ages), transport to activities, help with homework etc. I am also very pet friendly especially with dogs. Although we were extremely excited to hire Jaclyn for a two week babysitting job (in between nannies), it didn't work out as we planned. Jaclyn was scheduled to come over for a meet and greet the weekend before the job was to start but was unable to come because her mother fell down and needed assistance (Jaclyn texted us about 90 minutes before she was due to arrive). We were understanding and took her up on her suggestion to arrive early on the first day so we had time to show her around and let the kids meet her before we left for work. At 10pm the evening before she was due to arrive the following morning, she texted to say that her grandfather passed away and would be unavailable for the two weeks. She apologized but it was a very disappointing experience for us.
