My husband & I went out of town for a few days and we needed a reliable sitter for overnight care on short notice. Selecting Renee’ was the best decision we made. She’s respectful, reliable, patient, and thoughtful. Renee’ eased our nerves with frequent updates during our absence which was both appreciated & valued. Our kids (fur baby included) enjoyed their time with her and is certainly our choice sitter from now on!

Renee is great! 10/10 would recommend! Renee has been our full time nanny since October and will be leaving us in January as our daughter will be going to daycare. She is punctual, communicative.and is very attentive to our daughter.! She reads frequently and takes her on trips out of the house which is great for our inquisitive 16 mo old. Would hire again and hope she’s available for occasional sitting in the future!

Renee is probably THE perfect babysitter. She did childcare for a retreat I helped organize and she was so responsive the whole time we were communicating (it was really helpful because everything was so last minute and I was super stressed in the lead up trying to make sure everything went okay!). The other sitters were wonderful, too, but her poise and maturity really made me feel comfortable leaving kids in her care. In addition to evening babysitting, she helped with the daytime “kids camp”. She was assigned to work with the youngest kids and was just amazing with them. She really put the kids first and helped us weather what was a bit of a chaotic time (the organizer of Kids Camp was new so there were times when we had to improvise a bit). I would hire Renee again in a second.

I recently hired Renee to care for my five year old son, and I am so grateful that I did. She’s really attentive to my son and his needs. She communicates very well, is punctual and very reliable, which are important to building a great relationship. My son has connected with her and is building a trusted relationship. I’m very pleased with her this far.

Renee’ is punctual, compassionate, and able to cover for my regular sitter for a week. I was a little nervous - my son can be a bit challenging at times, but Renee’ was fantastic with him! Firm, but kind, and kept him busy all day with books, board games, and outside play. I will definitely hire her again, and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Renee' has been a godsend, caring for our very spirited 18-month-old while we juggled work responsibilities and a big move. She has been extremely kind and patient with our toddler, who has had a bit of a rough week teething and getting used to her new environment. She also kept her safe as we were in the process of babyproofing the new home. Renee' drove her to the park, played with her inside and outside the house, fed her and put her down for naps with uncommon skill. She is also very covid-conscious and punctual. She arrived early every day even though she had a long commute to our house. Would definitely recommend Renee' to anyone!!

Renee' we were fortunate to find Renee' for 2 days of service during Spring Break. Our seven year old is as active as they get and Renee' was with her for the entirety of the days. Activities, outdoors, healthy lunches and snack, positive reinforcement and general fun. Renee' will always be our first choice to sit. Thank you!

Renee is a wonderful babysitter! She is excellent at maintaining communication, as she sends texts confirming bookings ahead of time. She asks specific questions in advance to get an understanding of what kids like before she even shows up. She is punctual, even with a 7am start time! My kids can be shy around strangers but Renee does a great job of getting them to open up and have fun with her. My 3-year old was asking for her to come back after her first visit! She provides a perfect blend of play and learning, which works great for our kids. She’s also very conscious of hygiene, keeps a mask on unless eating, washes her hands upon arrival and sanitizes frequently. We totally lucked out when we found Renee!

Renee has been helping us out with our 2 month old for a little over a month now and has been fantastic! She has been incredibly thoughtful and diligent in her care for him and we will definitely continue working with her.

I recently hired Renee' on short notice to care for a large group of kids (20+) during a two-day workshop. Feedback from parent attendees, and my professional colleagues working the event, was overwhelmingly positive. Renee' was warm and upbeat, and kept the children happy and engaged for the entire time. I would definitely hire her again!

There are good babysitters, then there's Renee. Super professional in every respect. Renee treats her job like.... well, a job. Confirmed ahead that plans were in synch. Accommodated my change in location without a hitch. Settled in with the 9 month old like they were old pals. Took him for 2 walks. Changed and fed him timely, oh and administered his medication. Texted us during the night to let us know what was up so the first-time mom wouldn't stress. Then we get home after a 12 hour outing, and she's written a narrative of everything they did with times documented. Wow. Renee, you're number one.

I hired Renee' to be a Pool Party Chaperone for my 8 year old's Birthday Party today. I must say she was very friendly, kind, and most of all Punctual! She even beat me to the venue! She was absolutely wonderful with the children inside of the pool, helping them have the time of their lives. She was very interactive with all of them, especially when helping them get on the large pool toys (Bikes, Boats, Slides, etc.) and pushing them around the entire length of the pool. They really enjoyed her, as I did since I did not have to get in the pool with them! I would hire her again without a second thought.

I am only writing this to perhaps offer a lesson to a young lady who may do well to 'coarse correct' professional dealings. Live and learn as they say. This is long mind you, but accurate and specific. I just ventured on Sittercity to seek out a sitter and/or nanny for my 4 month old daughter. Ms. Renee N. responded to my following ad: "I am looking for someone for an ongoing basis. Price negotiable based on experience/duties for ongoing/weekly schedule. Part-time. I have 4 month old daughter and work nights. However, days may be needed. flexible schedule a plus. Light house work may be asked, but that would be worked out as needed if you're able. On border Hawthorne/Manhattan Beach. please send over info with your interest. Thank you! (note; we have pets. two well mannered cats who pretty much keep to themselves. so no allergies please) Rate: $8 / Hour - $15 / Hour" Renee contacted me about employment and I got back to her with a phone call. During this call I asked when she would be available to meet/greet. I was offering $10hr for 3 hrs. This would include an in person interview and then time with my daughter when my husband and I were home. Just as an initial intro. To this Renee agreed and I was looking forward to meeting her the next day at 11:30am. I followed up as discussed with my address/contact info via Sittercity as follows: You | Feb 3, 2012 @ 11:33am - Hello Renee; We are looking forward to meeting you tomorrow. As discussed 11:30am (Sat.) would be best for a 3 hr "get to know you" at $10 hr. Again, our daughter is 4 months old.Address is 48__ W 13__ pl, __, CA 90___ Home # 310.67____(info blocked out for this review). Best,Neva, Brian, and Simone Maya :) Then I get an email from her: Renee' N. | Feb 3, 2012 @ 11:56am - "Thank you for contacting me. After careful consideration...I am unable to accept $10/hr. I charge $17 and up for Nannying/babysitting newborns. I am sorry and I wish you the very best for your bundle of joy. ~Renee' " When I tried to respond her with the following I found it would not go through: "As discussed on the phone. $10 for 3 hours was the trial rate just for that time. It was not a final number. This was stated clearly. My ad clearly stated our range and $15 is the top dollar we will pay. Now you are saying $17, this is odd. You coming out, us talking and your staying a total of 3 hrs is what were going to pay for at $10 hr. You were basically being paid for your time to sit down with us to talk, and then stay with us while we were here with you and spend time with the baby. Our witnessing your dynamic and being available to guide you with anything specific with our daughter (as every baby has their own personality, quirks, style of tricks that work for soothing, etc.). Also, it was for her to get used to a new face as well to prep for her being alone with a 'stranger'. For this $10hr for a paid interview and such is very fair. Good luck to you." AGAIN, THIS MESSAGE DID NOT GO THROUGH. IT WAS BECAUSE RENEE SENT HER EMAIL AND THEN BLOCKED US FROM RESPONDING. I FOUND THIS OUT ONLY BY CALLING SITTERCITY. Apparently she was aware that what she pulled was not the most professional behavior and was trying to avoid a review. The company agreed with this after investigation of her activity on the site and our correspondences. then they allowed me to post this review. As a working mother, time is precious. Although it does take time to sift through applicants to find the right fit for a nanny ESPECIALLY with a young infant, to have someone blatantly take up your precious time is not good - to say the least. I find this a bit adolescent and there is certainly room for improvement. Renee could have even written that $10 was not enough and ask for more, but she left no room for negotiation because I WAS IMMEDIATELY BLOCKED BY HER . PLUS, in this last email she said she wouldn't do the job for less than $17 when it was clearly written in my ad she answered that the top range of pay for us was $15. Now I've taken quite a bit of time out of my day following up on this. It's frustrating as I said, and as parents know, time is precious. Renee would do well to respond to ads that are within her pay range instead of leading a parent on (I would have paid $15hr), and not be so cut and dry after making appointments and then changing her mind. Just bad form. In the long run I suppose I dodged a bullet here.... NOW I have a hungry infant who needs my attention.

Although I have never had first hand working experience with Renee. I can tell by her professional approach in seeking a her job search that she has amazing follow thru. Jeff L

Renee has been a wonderful babysitter for my three month old twin boys. She is very responsive and professional, consistently arriving on time with lots of energy and enthusiasm. She has demonstrated a clear ability and fondness for caring for small children and I would strongly recommend her for any other babysitting or nanny job opportunties.

Our three kids loved Renee! We have an 8 year old, a 4 year old, and a toddler, and I could tell she felt totally comfortable with each age group. And trust me, our youngest can be a handful! She's great at communication. She called before she came over, and texted me while we were out to let me know all was well. We even called to see if she minded staying later, and she had no problem with that! When I asked our oldest how the night went, she said "Great! When can she come again?". We will definitely call Renee the next time we need a sitter. She is experienced and reliable.

Renee was very professional and my son was a happy camper when we returned. We haven't had too many sitters for our 2 year old son and we were comfortable knowing we were leaving him in good hands for the day.

Renee' was wonderful and she stepped in to assist me with what I needed. She was prompt every morning, my child felt very comfortable with her, and I felt safe leaving my child under her care. I highly recommend her because she has great up to date credentials and she's aspiring to be an educator. I will definitely call her again when needed.

Renee was very good with our kids; the truly enjoyed her. We were very pleased with her service; specifically her punctuality and updates on the kids while sitting. We are planning to hire Renee again for a upcoming job.

Renee is doing a wonderful job with our son. He's having a bit of a hard time adjusting to being with someone who isn't a family member and she is making a huge effort to keep him happy and entertained. My husband works from home and he has continually been impressed with her kindness, patience, ability to find activities, and her caring manner. It's been very hard for me to leave him but knowing that Renee has been taking such good care of him makes it that much easier. Renee is also great about answering texts and has very kindly been filling out a communication sheet that I've been leaving for her with great detail and diligence so that I know what's gone on during the day. Thank you, Renee, for working so hard for my little man.

My bf and I had a long businesss trip to go to and we were really disorganized but Renee was willing to work with us dispite the inconvenience. She right away showed her qualifications :) and she seemed very positive, energetic, and reliable. My sons seemed to enjoy the weekend because they looked around the house for her Monday morning and she managed to get my lil monsters in the playpen together without them fighting! My bf and I are eager to work with her again and are really, really glad that she made our trip possible. We even were running extremely late, but she worked with us which is amazing!!! (we ended up only arriving home at midnight when we planned on being home by 8pm) I definately recommand Renee, she is amazing, and my family will definately be calling her again.

Renee' is a very punctual, very responsive sitter. She was excellent about checking in with us throughout the week to see if our plans had changed before she came over. Our daughter, 2 1/2, seemed to have had a great time with 'Ms. Renee' and had no trouble adjusting to a new face in the house. Renee' even went so far as to send us a message letting us know that our daughter was sound asleep and had no trouble. We definitely hope to use her again.

Renee is a calm, patient, and pleasant person. She came for an interview on her own time at my request, and played with my children to get to know them. She was fun, and yet firm when they were fighting and needed intervention. She has a very soothing manner, and she talked down my daughter's temper tantrum very quickly. She is punctual and professional, and my children adore her. We will definitely use her again!

Renee was responsible for taking our son to and from Summer Academy and later to and from Summer Academy and his tutor. She was very professional and flexible with our always changing schedule. She was on time and kept very good communication with us. She took our son to Chuck E. Cheese and to the park, as well as played board games with him.

Renee has baby sat for us on two occasions. She has a mild mannered, low-key demeanor to which all three of my children responded well. After she baby sat for them once, my children asked could “Renee� come and baby sit for them again. As my oldest daughter emphasized – “mommy she even offered to cook for us�. Renee is a lifesaver. She drops my son off at daycare after delivering him at O'dark thirty so I can take the train to work a tad earlier, and is 150% reliable, hopefully I can even depend on her when he isn't able to attend daycare. He seems to take to her quite easily so far. I recommend her for anything you need. She even came first time we met her with credentials/experience.

Renee' came to our rescue! I had a doctor's appt,in Rockville and I couldn't take our son, Edward. I contacted Renee' on Thursday and moments later she contacted us! She arrived early for her interview on Friday and came prepared with her certiciations and photo I.D. this really impressed me. I also received a "sterling" reference from her bio page! Renee' was willing to be at our home at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning!! She was courteous, on time, pleasant and respectful. I am considering using her on a regular basis -- we just moved to Annapolis this past September and it has not been easy finding reliable, plus 24 - hour notice child care on a weekend.... best of luck! Renee came to the interview promptly and prepared with various certificates and background information. She answered questions well and I was able to observe her with my children. We have a 6 year old daughter and 1 year old son. She has cared for the kids on two occasions for about 5 hours and I felt at ease both times. She confirms the schedule, reports on time and communicates with you during your absence. I have never used the internet to identify babysitters, but I am glad that I found Renee. She actively engages with the kids and they enjoy her. She took them to Chuck E. Cheese once and Burger King another time. My daughter keeps talking about Ms. Renee and has enjoyed their outings. We hope she will care for our children for as long as possible and on a regular basis. Our goal has been to identify several care providers that we can call in when needed who will be an extension to our family. We have found one such person in Renee. She is reliable and trustworthy.
