Hello, my name is Liz. I am 30 years old and reside in Cary. I have 10 years of experience working with children of all ages including infants. My previous experience was working as a nanny for two young boys. With the boys, we did everything from changing diapers, establishing a routine, learning respect and most of all having fun. When I started with the family, their mom explained to me that she was having a difficult time with getting them down for a nap. Within a month's time, I was able to get both children down for naps. I was known in the neighborhood as queen of nap time. When I worked at a Montessori learning facility as an aide, I learned the importance of those qualities in a child's life and how structure really plays an important role in their life at such a young age. From there, Read more I was able to carry what I learned from Montessori to the family. Prior to nannying, I was a babysitter and worked at the local gym in the kid's club. Also, I've worked with families of multiples(up to 5 children). It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed every minute. I am current on my CPR and I have reliable transportation. Also, I have excellent references and I am looking something that is long term (up to 3 years). I can sign a few words and can count in spanish(up to 20). My philosophy is allowing children to be themselves. You only get one childhood so why not live it to the fullest. Allowing a child to be themselves is something that is so important to their growth and development in life.
