My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me Eli (Eh-lee). Children have always been a great source of joy for me and hope to continue to interact with children for the rest of my life. I graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor's in Psychology. After graduating, I taught English to elementary aged students overseas in South Korea for two years while I traveled and learned about my background and family. Upon returning to the States, I counseled children with disruptive behavioral disorders (including Autism, ADHD, ODD, etc.) in their homes, schools, and community activities. I enjoyed every minute of my time with clients (even on the hard days), but realized I wanted something different for a career. I am currently continuing my education in a Master's program for Industrial Organizational Psychology. I still love children and am passionate about caring for their future. I hope to Read more start a family of my own one day and am excited about opportunities to adopt and foster. In the meantime, I hope I can be of service to families in need of a caregiver. We all know how hard balancing life, work, and families and kids can be. I'd like to help!
