I’m a 33yr old single mom of a 4yr old boy. I have registered him in head start & preschool so on days when he's not in school I sincerely hope you would not be opposed to him coming with me as I think our kids could have endless fun together. However on occasional needs/date nights, etc he will not accompany me. Although I like for him to have more playmates & the ability to interact with other kids is very important. I'll provide anything he may need/require. A little about me: I absolutely love doing ALL types of activities with kids of all ages. We can color, build things, work with crafts, projects, paint, draw, puzzles, games, play pretend, go outside, make costumes, sing, dance, have scavenger hunts, take walks, etc. The options are endless. I'm an avid reader & enjoy reading books to kids & in general. I Read more have also assisted & worked with children that have needed/required assistance with their homework; spelling, reviewing papers, checking assignments, etc. For younger kids we can work on colors, letters, #'s, shapes, etc. I have no problem adhering to your preferred routines/schedules. I enjoy cooking. I always make sure "we" clean up "our" messes. I guess the best way to say it all in a nutshell is I strive to do my very best to help out in any & all ways possible. Assist with the laundry, do dishes, sweep, vacuum, help with pets (if needed) etc; basically anything that'll make things easier. That said I love animals. I also have a very reliable & safe vehicle. I am CPR & First Aid Certified. Prior to having my son I was certified as a: pharmacy technician, medicine technician, homecare aide & nursing aide. I also completed the follow training courses: vocational rehabilitation & behavioral principles and strategies, through a previous employer with the intent of continuing my work with the disabled. I have a tremendous amount of experience working with children of all ages, including children with disabilities. Due to my extensive training I have no problems working with children that may have medical needs, conditions or require medication. Hopefully this has provided you with some insight as to me & who I am. I'll gladly provide my resume along with references. Thank you for your time, take care! :)
