Hello, there! I'm Eileen and thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I've worked with children most of my life in some capacity. I worked as a special needs teacher in the Baltimore County school system for several years and taught elementary education as well. My nanny experience includes 3 years working for a family in Lutherville, caring for their 3 year old and newborn, and 2 years for a family in Jacksonville, MD, caring for a newborn. I would have to say that caring for a newborn and being there to witness all the changes that occur during the first 2 years of life is my greatest joy! Some personal information...I am married with 1 daughter and 2 stepchildren; all grown with families of their own. We have 3 beautiful grandchildren, 4 dogs and a cat. (Yes, I did say 4 dogs. Kind of a "yours, Read more mine, and ours situation!") I love the outdoors, animals, and reading. I also love to ride my bike and go hiking and kayaking. I was a single mom and had to rely on outside childcare for my child...I know the anxiety you most likely are experiencing as you peruse these profiles.
