I have always been interested in working with children, even as a child! My family consistenly had me on child care duty, which sparked my interest and love of children! I have experience working with children of all ages and walks of life. I am CPR certified and have a Child Care Training Certificate from the MD State Department of Education. In my previous position, I was a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math teacher for 2nd-5th grade. I have also tutored math, reading, and language arts for grade school and college level students. I love doing crafts and would love to do projects that the children are interested in. I also enjoy going for walks, reading, and teaching life skills to the children. I am happy to assist with homework, light cleaning, and meal preparation.
