Hello! In May of 2010, I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. My growth continued while teaching preschool in Brooklyn for the past four years. During this time I discovered my unique teaching style. I found a delicate balance of managing and entertaining a room of preschoolers while having fun teaching. My willingness to spend extra time creating outstanding visuals allowed my activities to appeal to all types of learners. This in turn increased active involvement and student success. The commitment to my classroom was noticed by others at the school and led to a promotion as the Director of Education. Aside from teaching, I have provided babysitting services for over 20 families in the Brooklyn area. These included evenings, full day, school breaks, and overnight stays for children between the ages of 2 months to 10 years old. Currently, I Read more am a graduate student in the Elementary-Middle Special Education Master's Program at Loyola University Maryland. My greatest strengths include my passion and enthusiasm towards children. In Kindergarten I dreamed of one day becoming a teacher and I still have that "sparkle" in my eyes. My high-energetic personality allows children to feel comfortable and be open with me. I am an active person that is enthusiastic about life. I regularly run, hike, ski, swim, and play other sports. I have always been a creative person and enjoy drawing, arts and crafts, dance, reading, writing, and music.
