I am a sitter who began my experience babysitting with my own siblings (i'm 1 of 5 children), and soon extended to family members and then family friends. Developing a close relationship with the children I watch is something I practice so there is complete trust and understanding on what is appropriate and what is expected of both me and the children. I love to read, play lacrosse, basketball, and soccer and am open to lean any new sports or activities the Child/Children may like. I also love being outdoors and looking for new things to do, and if we're stuck indoors, I usually create an activity for the kids. I.E. A science experiment, drawing/painting, and sometimes flash cards to practice areas they may need help in (math, writing, spelling etc.) I dogs and most animals are not a problem for me, but i get along with dogs the best; Read more i personally own a mutt (pitbull/husky mix). I have a valid drivers license and my own car. I ask to be reimbursed for gas if the children and I adventure out reasonably far, but other than that, i will cover my own gas. I also ask to be notified before if any of the children have an discipline/behavior problems so that I may act and plan things accordingly.
