Hi. My name is Courtney Jenkins and I am 27 years old. I have been nannying/babysitting off and on since I graduated high school in 2006. My experience began my senior year of high school when I did a paid internship with a day care facility in Glen Burnie. During this time I received my 90 clock hr certificate for child care as well as cpr and first aid certification, which I have kept up to date each year. After high school I started working for a 2 child family in Odenton. The boys were 9 months and 5 years old, and I cared for them until they went to school full time. I currently still babysit for them on a fairly regular basis. After working for the first family, they referred me to a new family that resided in Severna Park. They had 2 children ages 1 and 4 Read more 1/2. I cared for the 1 year old boy full time, and his sister after her preschool program and both of them full time in the summer. I still have close relationships with both families and have great references! I currently live in the Glen Burnie area. I am expecting a baby girl in December- we currently have child care in place for her but I would love to find something part time between 25-30 hours a week or find a family that would allow me to bring her with me, if only a couple days a week.
