I am 33 years old & from Chapel Hill, NC. My true passion in life is working with children! I have had many years of experience babysitting and nannying full-time and part-time over the past 13 years. I've also worked in two daycares in the Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC area. I have experience tutoring children as well, helping them to learn English or with regular school work/homework, and with speech. I've had experience with special needs children & behaviorally challenging children, who tend to respond very well to me when few others can reach them. Many say I have a natural gift in dealing with kids and I thoroughly enjoy teaching children healthy habits and educational facts during everyday situations and whenever opportunity allows. I'm very flexible, patient, honest and happy! I am very creative and enjoy the spontaneity of working with children! I've completed about 2.5-3 years of college courses pertaining to childcare, however, I have not graduated yet. My goal is to finish a BA in Elementary Education as soon as I'm able. I have an Associate's Degree in the Arts with a focus in Elementary Education. I recently moved to Augusta, GA to move in with a serious Boyfriend. I am new to the area so am not extremely familiar with locations quite yet but look forward to learning! Nannying is truly my favorite job. I absolutely love the energetic and active lives that children embrace and require! Plus my true passion lies in working with kids to make a positive difference in their lives. I am willing to do extra work around your house to make your life easier as a parent! I know the demands of a full time job & adding a family to those demands, it leaves little time for much else!
