My name is Bruna, I am 23 years old, and I am from Brazil. I spent one year in Silver Spring- MD taking care of 3 amazing boys, who are 5, 7 and 12 years old. My experience with children started when I took care of Lucas, in Brazil. Lucas was 5 years old and he is a really good boy. We get along with each other and still keep in touch. I started to work with him when his mother started to work and needed someone of trust to take care of him. Basically, I needed to take him to school, help with his homework and play with whatever he wanted. After that, I started to work with my mom at Kumon, and I needed to help the kids with Math and Portuguese exercises. I also needed to relax them while they were in the class and I liked Read more to talk to them when they finished their exercises. In my year in US, I received a lot of videos and messages from my students, and I miss them so much! After working at Kumon I came to US and started my life as an au pair. I took care of 3 boys, Ethan (5yo), Christian (7yo), and Brandon (12yo). They are really good boys, and I have never had problems with them. My daily duties were: making breakfast to them and taking them to the bus stop at 8:15 in the morning. After taking them to the bus stop I had to do some house duties like do the laundry, vacuum the basement, the kid's room and the living room, and wash the bathrooms. At 3:30pm, I had to pick them up in the bus stop and help them to do their homework. Three times per week they have taekwondo and I had to drive them there and wait for them to finish. After taekwondo I used to make dinner for them and when they didn't have taekwondo we use to go to the park or stay in home painting or playing with Play-Doh. In Brazil, I also have a cousin and on weekends I was always with her in my grandma's house. I loved to spend my time with her swimming (she loves swimming!). I am an easygoing person, outgoing, honest, responsible,ponctual, I love to travel, I love animals and I love to make new friends. So, that's it for a while.
