I earned my Bachelor's Degree in history and sociology from Salisbury University in 2009, and I earned my graduate degree in international relations from the London School of Economics in 2010. I have worked with children my whole life: as a babysitter, a tutor, a teacher's aide, a coach, and a camp director. I love working with children, and I find it very fulfilling. I am willing to do whatever it takes to help a child be successful. As a long-term babysitter, I worked with four energetic boys, ages 0/1-7 (at the start of my employment); as a camp director, I was responsible for maintaining a fun, cooperative atmosphere. I also worked as a nanny for two families, both with young children. I am therefore confident that I can meet the needs of your two children.

Kristyn, in a word, is wonderful!! I completely trust her with my two girls, ages 2.5 years and 4 months. She is exceptionally responsible, very creative and a lot of fun -- my girls have a fantastic time with her and I come home to happy children ( and often fresh-baked goodies!!) Through play, she works with my oldest daughter on speaking, counting, spelling, etc... and in the 3 months that Kristyn has cared for my girls, my oldest daughter has improved immensely in every area! 3 months ago she was just starting to count, didn't know her abc's and was still speaking what sounded like gibberish most of the time. Now she can count to twenty (and above sometimes!), she knows her abc's and can spell her name, and she is speaking in full sentences that we can understand. Kristyn does fun projects (baking, crafts, etc...) that keep my oldest daughter entertained, but she also cares for and nurtures my youngest daughter. I am beyond pleased that we hired Kristyn as our nanny, and can't imagine not having her around!!!

Accepted a job with us, set up the schedule, spent hours preparing her for the job and then she said she accepted another. Didn't give her 1 star because she seemed sweet during the short time I knew her.
