Amber is an incredible, engaging sitter. She's also generally a wonderful human. My three year old son loves her a lot! I feel secure knowing he's safe, well cared for, and genuinely enjoying himself when they're together. I highly recommend.

Amber watched my son and my friend's daughter (both 2) for the past year three days a week. She has been wonderful! The children love her, she very easily adopted their routines, took them to story times, playgrounds, etc. and initiated outings and lessons. She has also been very flexible to watch the kids for random date nights, longer work days, and helping while our family moved. I highly recommend her and would be happy to provide a more detailed recommendation.

Amber has worked as a part-time nanny for my 2 year old daughter and her 2 year old friend for the past 8 months. She's been a wonderful caregiver for the both of them. She takes them to parks, story times, museums and is geniunely interested in their growth and well-being. I hired Amber to provide child care at my wedding in late October. In our initial phone interview, she was very professional and friendly- she has a really lovely demeanor and an obvious commitment to providing good quality care. On our wedding day, Amber and her sister had six children in their charge for five hours while the ceremony and reception were happening. Some of the children were very unhappy to be left out of the party, but Amber took charge of the room and handled the situation beautifully. She comforted a crying toddler during the ceremony and soothed a crying infant by carrying him around for at least an hour. The parents whose children were in her care had nothing but praise for Amber, as did our wedding coordinator, who even noted that the room was very hot (that explained the kids' discomfort) and that Amber was very poised in dealing with that situation. She was able to prioritize both the comfort of the children and preserving the quiet of our ceremony. We are so glad that we hired Amber. If we had children of our own, we would definitely call on her again!

We hired Amber to watch our 5 month old son full time (40 hours a week). She was absolutely wonderful with him! From the moment we met Amber, she was organized and professional. She always showed up a few minutes early and was willing to help out with everything we asked including laundry, cleaning bottles, making baby food, putting away all toys and light housekeeping. She kept our son on his eating and sleeping schedule, which is not an easy task! Most importantly, she worked with him on reaching developmental milestones, played with him keeping him stimulated, read him books, and took him outside each day for fresh air. She is a natural with children. I highly recommend Amber as a full time Nanny or Babysitter!
