Hi There! My name is Crystal Laplante. I'm 31 and have a passion for education and children! After graduating college with an Elementary Education degree from the University of Maine I substituted for a few months and worked with aytistic students at a special purpose preschool. After that I had the opportunity to teach second grade part of the day and assist my principal as her education technician for the remainer of the day. After two years of this, I was given my own second grade classroom where I taught for two years. After this I have volunteered and worked as a behavioral health technician, working with children and their families to help implement treatment plans specific to the families' needs. Throughout my primary positions, I have provided childcare for many professional families within my region, mostly throughout college. I have tutored students ranging in grades K-8 for the district Read more that I taught, as well as taught summer services for the same age ranges. I am currently looking to use my experience and passion to provide childcare and am excited to be getting back into the education arena soon! I have experience with newborns to teens and references to verify!
