Hello there!! 😄 My name is Kalie Ward, and I'm a full time professional career nanny with experience as a household assistant as well. I'm currently 22 years old and I'm originally from Northern Maine. I moved to Connecticut June of 2018. Right now I'm currently searching for a long term full time position with a wonderful new family. I have been a full time nanny for almost 3 years. I have vast experience with all ages of children, including infants. Growing up, my mother owned a daycare in our home, so I've always been around kids. I'm very seasoned in childcare with plenty of quality experience. My sister is the head director of Trumbull's Educational Playcare facility and my mother works in elementary school, so I'd definitely say childcare runs in my family. I also have over 100+ volunteer hours working in childhood education settings. I would describe myself Read more as very active and high energy person, so I enjoy getting right down on the same level as the children, running around outdoors after them and practicing/teaching them sports. Being artistic and creative is one of my best skills, so planning arts and crafts activities, science experiments, having musical playtime, baking, and creating fun, engaging educational activities are right up my alley. I'm very invested as a full time career nanny, and have such a strong love for working with children. I strive to create a close relationship with each child, all while maintaining healthy boundaries. My largest role as a full time professional nanny was for a family of 6. I provide full service house assistance alongside providing quality childcare. The kids I cared for were ages 6 months old (girl), 4 years old (girl), 6 years old (boy), and 8 years old (boy). Some of my duties included, doing family laundry, preparing quality home cooked breakfasts, lunches and dinners, taking kids to appointments/afterschool activities, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, planning outings, providing assistance with potty training, creating engaging activities, organizing kids clothing and toys, and caring for the family dog.
