I am writing to you because I am very interested in a babysitting position. I have babysat all my life. I taught as a classroom teacher, a Title I teacher, and as a special education teacher. All of these experiences have given me skills I use as a teacher and as a babysitter. I have a love of books and enjoy sharing them with children. I have an extensive library of children's books. I was part of a team that wrote a family literacy grant. We received the grant and used the grant to sponsor family literacy nights for families. Families from our school district came, worked on literacy activities together, ate a meal together, and took home books and activities to do as a family. I have always enjoyed working with children. I think it is very important to get down on their level and play. I have Read more a lot of activity and craft books collected over the years. Thank you for your consideration.
