I grew up with a huge family. I only have one biological brother but I have plenty of cousins and family friend we consider family. As one of the oldest children in what we called "playgroup", I certainly did my fair share of babysitting. That's where my interest in childcare started. In middle and high school, I started my business career babysitting for my family members and friends. I have 10 years experience as a fun-loving, creative, responsible role model for children. As I got out of high school, I began to study Marketing and Management at Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield, Maine, where I received my Associates Degree. I moved on to get my Bachelors in Management from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. I've spent the past 8 years working in the restaurant industry, so its safe to say I'm a great cook with knowledge about nutrition and Read more tastiness. As a manager, I've learned to deal with difficult customers and employees alike. I've become really good at diffusing stressful situations. The past few years, I've been losing interest in the corporate world. I want to go back to working a job that fulfills me and makes me feel appreciated and needed. Childcare is something I can happily dedicate my time to. I am a creative, energetic, smart woman who will encourage your child(ren) to be open-minded, respectful, well-mannered, and self-aware, all while offering plenty of adventure and laughs. I was certified in First Aid and CPR, and have put those skills to use on a toddler and will become re-certified if its something you desire.
