Hello! I am currently working on my undergrad degree at the University of Southern Maine, majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Criminology and Education. I grew up with kids my whole life and first became a nanny in 2012. I was with my first family for about three years, until the two eldest grew into their teen years. In 2014 I began babysitting for an adorable 8 month old girl, I still visit her when I am back home in Minnesota. I was also a nanny for a family of three my last summer before beginning school in Maine. Last summer (2017), I worked in the most amazing Montessori preschool and daycare called Step By Step. It was my first experience caring for more than 3 or 4 kids. I never could have expected to make the memories and connections I made there that summer. Days were long Read more with 20 toddlers surrounding me but I wouldn't have wanted to spend my summer anywhere else. I worked at Step By Step full-time for the summer and during my winter break from school. Most of my time at the daycare was spent in the Transition Toddler room, but I often circulated through the Infant and Young Toddler rooms. Kids have always been a big part of my life and I hope to continue that!
