I have worked with children for as long as I can remember. In junior high and high school, I babysat and volunteered at the local elementary school. Throughout the years, I have watched other people's children, including my niece. I graduated college with my Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013 and will begin pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in the Spring of 2017. I take ongoing training and learning, continuously striving to become a better care giver. I am caring, nurturing, fun and energetic. I enjoy teaching children as well as learning from them. I believe that play is the foundation for all learning. Literacy is also an important aspect of a learning foundation. I encourage child centered learning and developmentally appropriate activities. Children are our most precious commodity. They are our future, therefore, we need to protect, teach, and love them.
