I am a 35yo teacher and mother of four. I currently teach beginner French part-time at George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill-- a position is not viable for another year due to low enrollment. I hold a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Maine Augusta with minors in education and French, and I am nearly finished with a Master of Arts in history from Norwich University. I expect to graduate Suma Cum Laude on June 21, 2019. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as a CNA in the ER at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital. Before that, I was a home-based family childcare provider aboard Maine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. I have over twenty years of experience raising, educating, and caring for children-- including creating and implementing curriculums for toddlers through fifth grade that included age-appropriate enrichment activities, babysign, and verbal French.
