I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Maine at Farmington and over 20 years of experience in the field--in home and classroom settings with all ages and abilities. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and am a non smoker. I feel that children learn through play. I enjoy providing hands on experiences for children in their environment and community. I share my love of the literacy world with books, songs and my knowledge of basic sign language. Art, sensory activities, cooking and exploring the outdoor world are important parts of my day with children. While each child is unique and special, each family is as well.
