I consider myself a classic four season outdoor enthusiast . I am a registered Maine guide, wilderness first responder- including CPR. I have my Masters in Leadership studies and focus on authentic leadership theories. Working with kids of all ages is fun because I can not only match their energy, but appreciate the little moments. My experience has been rooted from a big family, being raised by a single mom with multiple siblings I appreciate the chaos that children bring to everyday life. Previous experience stems from a family I worked with for three years as well as a summer camp counselor. I’ve also worked with older students grades 7-11 at a gifted student summer camp at UCI building leadership skills. While I do have other commitments and responsibilities in life I fondly look back to those days and would love to have the opportunity to connect with local families Read more and be able to offer genuine childcare. I love working with kids in the outdoors, skill building everything from fort building to mountain biking, as well as in the kitchen. I can even make cleaning the house fun! Or at least give it a solid go. Or I can just ensure they stay safe and sound while parents get a night out in the town, I know every family has their own life philosophy and I will ensure to uphold house values.
