I am currently a senior at GVSU pursuing my bachelor's degree in special education. I have completed a semester of teacher assisting in a K-2 Mild Cognitive Impairment classroom, as well as a semester in a Moderate Cognitive Impairment classroom in a high school setting. I have some experience working with children with SXI as well. I will graduate from GVSU with a bachelor's degree in special education in December of 2018 with a minor in psychology and an endorsement in cognitive impairment. In August of 2019 I will have completed graduate level work obtaining my endorsement in early childhood as well. I have worked at a childcare center for over a year in all classrooms ranging from Infant 1 to Pre-K. I have certifications in CPR, First Aid, and CPI. ***Starting June 2 I will be able to provide full-time services.***
