Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read this personal ad - I hope I cover everything. I started babysitting (supervised) at 10 years old and solo around 12. When I turned 15, my first job was in a child care center. I went to college and became an EMT then later a nurse. Throughout my career I have worked with people 1 minute old to 104 years old, with all major and many minor diagnoses. So, for ex, if your child has allergies or is diabetic you can rest assured that I am competent in caring for their medical needs in addition to the physical, mental, and emotional ones we all have. A favorite position I had was as the seasonal health officer for a children’s camp. My last job was Director of Nursing and while I loved it it was 24/7 and took all time away from Read more any aspect of my life that wasn’t work related. I have 2 young children of my own and I’m looking for a position to care for other children, while having mine present (because play dates are always fun!), that will be a fun break from nursing while I continue my education around your schedule. Your children will be treated as if they were my own - with care, kindness, respect, encouragement, and in a positive atmosphere. Schedules are important and I will adhere to your’s but in between we’ll be outside exploring on nice days, playing at the park, and just enjoying the weather. If it’s not an outside day we’ll be getting creative inside with arts and crafts, games, building forts ... wherever our imaginations take us! My rule is when we’re done with one thing we have to clean up before moving on to the next and, like my kiddos, your’s will probably find themselves singing or humming the Clean Up song. We love all animals so if you have any that’s great! If not, maybe there’s a petting zoo we can find to visit! I’m extremely confident in my first aid and CPR skills as I’ve used them often throughout my career. I have a keen eye regarding safety and am always alert to any possibilities of an accident and therefore act accordingly to avoid what I can. I’m patient, level headed, energetic, yet have a calming effect. This job can be short term or long, depending on your wishes, and I’m most definitely willing/wanting to relocate - for school and the adventure! I look forward to talking soon! This keeps cutting me off with character limits but Pay is negotiable as well as distance (they’re making me put actual numbers and then forcing pay increase and mileage decrease). :)
