I am a 31 year old preschool teacher turned nanny originally from Michigan. I recently moved back to MI from DC and worked as a co toddler teacher at a childcare center this past school year. I am a Michigan State University graduate with a degree in Family and Community Services. Children are one of my true passions in life! Without them, I would feel such a loss in my life. I feel that as a babysitter and/or a nanny that I become a part of the child's life in an important role. That role would be decided by title in regards to what the family is looking for. I believe that having a close relationship is important for the children to feel that they can connect with the babysitter/nanny. I think that communitcation between parents and babysitter/nanny are also very important. I am currently looking for something part or full Read more time, preferably a nanny share. I would like to open my own in home daycare Fall 2015 somewhere in Ann Arbor. This year I'd like to focus on building a clientele and inquiring families needs in the area. I'd like to find a few families to have a nanny share full or part time. I can fit 3 car seats in my car fairly easily. Age range between 1-5. Bethany has watched our baby girl as a fill in nanny for over a year. She is a dream. My daughter asks for her all the time! Bethany teaches my daughter new things everytime she's with us. She also loves to take Isla on adventures outdoors. All in all, I wish my hours were more consistent to be able to have her all the time!
