I have been caring for children since I was 14 years old and it's something that I love to do. My previous nanny position I worked the family from 2010-2015. I was responsible for three children of all different ages. The youngest child was a new born when I started caring for him and his older siblings were two and four. When I first started caring for the children I was only caring for two. The youngest was two at the time and the oldest was four. The oldest child suffered from Aspergers Syndrome and was a handful at times. Taking care of him made learn to be very patient and understanding. He was not always able to tell me exactly what he needed and by caring for him it helped me gain better understanding. I was also a 4-H leader until I was no longer eligible to be in it anymore due to my age. I am no stranger to pets either. I grew up in a rural community and being involved in 4-H and the county fair has afforded my lots of time and responsibility caring for something other than myself. As a child I have had many animals such as: Chickens, Turkeys, Goats, Rabbits, Cats and Dogs. I am also very punctual and have no problem taking direction or completing tasks in a timely manner.
