I have spent most of my twenties in childcare, as well as being a private nanny for two families for over five years for a wide age range of children. My main focus of age range is usually newborns to school age. My style of child care is very different than most. I strive to help children learn to be independent, self-confident and help them with problem solving that comes with managing “big feelings” during emotional development. Being outdoors, planning activities, limited screen time, and laughter are all important to me as a Nanny. As of right now, I live in Michigan, however due to life events I am planning to move out of state this summer. Working in health care during the time of this crisis opened my eyes that life was too short to not do the things I have always wanted.
