I have 20 years experience caring for children. I started caring for babies and children when I was 13 years old. I have nannied for infants and toddlers and twins. I have three children of my own that I cared for full time whom are now 12, 16 and 18 years of age. I also have experience with special needs children and young adults. My oldest son has ADHD and my middle son has Asperger's Syndrome, but I also worked in the Brandon School district as a paraprofessional with young adults with special needs teaching them life skills, hygiene and employable skills. I worked in a Young Fives classroom as an Instructional Aide and volunteered in both a Kindergarten classroom and first grade classroom working with children on reading. Caring for children and supporting their growth and development has been my life's passion.
