As a first time mom, I was all set to go back to work when I suddenly realized, I enjoy caring for my daughter more than anything else I've ever done. Instead of going back to work in the nonprofit world, I decided I wanted to help care for other people's children too. I am a "crunchy mommy" and will be a "crunchy nanny." I know all about cloth diapering, cloth wipes, (willing to even launder your cloth diapers for you), breastfeeding, bottle feeding, natural teething remedies, and sensory play. I know all about different developmental play for babies by month-by-month and will sing, carry, and love your little one as I do my own. I would love to nanny for a baby 1-year-old or younger, but willing to play with older children too. I love being outdoors and going to parks and museums. I believe a child's brain develops significantly in the first five years and want to provide fun play times that help the children develop.
