Having grown up with a nanny, Patricia was influential in helping shape my childhood and ultimately inspired me to pursue a nannying role seven years ago. I have a strong interest in joining a family, so I can continue to help shape young children, just as Patricia did for me. I look forward to bringing my love of sports, upbeat personality and positive attitude to a family. I have experience caring for children with ADHD, social communication disorders, and dyslexia and am open to nannying children from all different backgrounds. I encouraged the child with a social communication disorder to be understanding and patient with others, and I was recognized for the improvement of their social and communication skills. Additionally, I taught new and easy learning skills for the child with dyslexia, resulting in 30% improvement of child's grades. Nannying for families with several children has taught me how to Read more properly intervene during strong disagreements and establish a safe and secure environment. By encouraging open communication I was able to reduce the disagreements between siblings and the amount of necessary disciplinary action. I have held a driver’s license for seven years and have a clean driving record. In addition to caring for the children, am willing and able to perform housekeeping duties such as laundry, clean up, meal prep, and household errands. Because of my seven years of nannying children of various ages, medical disabilities , and religious beliefs I am confident that I will be an outstanding nanny to any family.
