My name is Savannah Harris and i love working with children. Starting at a young age i babysat frequently and as i grew up it became more and more common for me. Once i went out on my own and needed a job to support myself i decided to go into daycare full time, working at Rainbow Child Care Center. The center is based on young childhood learning (2months-6 years seperated into classrooms) so even the infant rooms would be focused on helping the children grow and develop, i found that pretty cool. I learned so much there about all ages and how to teach them, make them comfortable with new adults and other kids while enjoy themselves. I loved it there but i always found myself wishing i could get more one on one time with the kids and their parents so i took what i learned and moved Read more my way into nannying. I've always loved the idea of a nanny, i had 3 growing up myself and they made some big impacts on my life as a kid, i wanted to give that to other families. My older sister is a nanny aswell and has been for 7 years, she taught me alot of what i know now too. I have many references from different familys i've nannied and/or babysat for, even some with special needs children. I plan on going into special education in schools one day. But while i'm going to school online i like to get the expirence and continue to learn and grow along with a nice family. I'm very outdoorsy and love to stay active while on rainy days also enjoying arts and crafts and anything that gets the creativity flowing. I've worked with all ages from newborns to 11 years old and look forward to getting more and more expirence as time goes by.
