I love children and teaching. I obtained my elementary teaching degree from Eastern Michigan University with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children from infant to high school in both classroom and non-classroom environments. I have been a lead teacher in many preschool classrooms, which has given me a lot of experience in coming up with active, hands on activities to do with children. A lot of my experience is also through volunteer work including a mentoring program and working in a kindergarten classroom for a year. My greatest experience was having the opportunity to teach school aged children in Costa Rica last summer. I wanted to become a nanny to gain even more experience working with children because I enjoy teaching them new things. I also want children to develop a love for learning and life.
